What Kind of Evaluation
Do I Need?
Educational Evaluation
Focuses on learning and academic skills, including reading, writing, math, and certain aspects of language. Helps identify dyslexia and other learning disabilities and determine appropriate school supports and accommodations.
Clinical Psychological Evaluation
Focuses on cognitive abilities, attention, executive functioning, memory, emotions, and behavior. Can help diagnose ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other psychological or behavioral conditions.
When Is a Neuropsychological Evaluation Needed?
Neuropsychological evaluations are typically recommended when there are concerns related to a neurological or complex medical condition, such as a brain injury, persistent symptoms following a concussion, stroke, epilepsy, or brain tumor.
Many concerns involving attention, memory, learning, or executive functioning do not require a neuropsychological evaluation and can be thoroughly assessed through educational and/or clinical psychological testing.
When neurological concerns are present or more specialized testing is needed, we will recommend a referral to a neuropsychologist.

Assessment Tools
We use current, well-established psychological and educational assessment tools selected specifically for each client's age, needs, and concerns. No two evaluations are exactly alike; testing is individualized to identify strengths, clarify areas of concern, and provide meaningful recommendations for school, work, testing accommodations, or everyday life.
Insurance & Fees
Psychological & Educational Testing Specialists is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance companies directly. However, you may be eligible for reimbursement through your insurance plan. We provide documentation that may be needed to submit a claim to your insurance company.
We offer a free phone consultation prior to scheduling, so you can get your questions answered and determine whether our services are the right fit before making a commitment.
