Testing for Children, Teens, and Adults

Debbi and Dawn work with their clients in a warm, welcoming, and compassionate environment. Together, they complete the testing process in a manner that addresses the client's individual needs. Through testing and dialogue, Debbi and Dawn are able to uncover the client's unique pattern of cognitive, academic, and executive function abilities.

When the assessments have been completed, scored, and analyzed, evaluation reports are written and presented to parents/guardians and adult clients. These reports include recommendations and resources to address any areas of difficulty. Parents/guardians, students when appropriate, and adult clients have an opportunity to ask questions and gain clarification during an in-person or virtual post-evaluation meeting.

Evaluations may be requested for a variety of reasons including:

Testing for Children

Testing accommodations for classroom and standardized tests
Classroom accommodations or modifications
Eligibility for Special Education or Gifted and Talented Programs
To understand and improve social and/or behavioral functioning
Special class or school placement
To investigate concerns regarding dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or anxiety

Testing for Teens

Testing accommodations for standardized tests such as the SAT or ACT
Testing accommodations for classroom assessments
Eligibility for Special Education or Gifted and Talented Programs
Classroom modifications or accommodations
To understand and improve social and/or behavioral abilities
To investigate concerns regarding dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or anxiety
To investigate concerns about school refusal, changes in mood, or substance use

Testing for Adults

Accommodations at the university level, whether in a 2 year, 4 year, or graduate school program
Accommodations in the workplace
To establish intellectual functioning for adults up to age ninety-nine
